This animated film "Barnyard" is probably the final "summer-entertainment show for families." I don't even know where to start. But after the film was over, I feel upbeat and I had a good time. It left me torn, but at the same time, I thought it was quite pleasant. Here's what I have noticed: All cattle (both males and females) have udders.
Barnyard is on par with Kubrick's work in how much detail is put into every frame. There's so much symbolism and hidden meanings that it makes films like Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker look like children's entertainment. Barnyard received negative reviews when it was released but it's really a misunderstood masterpiece that's crying for reappraisal.
- Otis is the main protagonist of the Barnyard franchise. He is Pip's best friend, Daisy's ex-husband, Lil' Ben's adoptive father, Abby's boyfriend, and Ben's adoptive son.
