In Far Out a similar perspective is chosen. People are acting violent and feel like they are betrayed by the state ( "Yeah, we call it treason!" Ben get's bored by this attitude ( "Well, I've seen this show before" ) and points to a different, more fulfilling path: a quiet life closely connected to nature ( "Tell me is there vacancy, out in the house beyond the trees" ).
De lente is zo goed als in het land en Ben Howard herbevestigt dit maar al te graag. Deze keer geen moeilijke electronica of onherkenbare vocals. Howard gaat op “Far Out” recht door zee en wij dobberen maar al te graag mee op die boot. “Follies Fixtures” is dan weer een ingetogen track met repetitieve electronica op de achtergrond.
