Busta Jones, also known as Busta Cherry Jones, was one of the best bass players of the late '80s, and one with remarkable cross-over from regular rock into funk and into avant garde new wave. Born in Memphis in 1951, he somehow found himself as ex-Free bassist Andy Fraser's replacement in the UK band the Sharks, with guitarist Chris Spedding.
Busta "Cherry" Jones (born Michael Jones, September 26, 1951 – December 6, 1995) was an American musician, songwriter and producer.
