This Is What I Do is a 2013 album by Boy George, produced by Richie Stevens. With this release, it was the first time since the mid-1990s that a sober George had taken the time to complete a full-length album. It gained positive reviews, with The Guardian calling it "the best comeback of the year". It was Boy George's first solo album to reach the UK Top 40 since his 1987 debut Sold.

Boy George trabajó en Blitz Club en Great Queen Street, que contaba con Steve Strange como portero y con Boy George como dependiente del guardarropa y donde realizó con Culture Club su primera actuación.. George llamó la atención de Malcolm McLaren, un productor que se las arregló para que apareciera como Lieutenant Lush en un concierto de teatro con Annabella Lwin.

6 de sept. de 2013 · After listening to "This is what I do" a couple of times you sit with the feeling that Boy George is here to stay, that he can pull more great albums out of his "hat" and that this is just the start. Listening to the album you realize that Boy George is a great songwriter, has a great voice and really still has a lot to offer to the music business.
