He says anyone else would have wanted to do the same thing. It's movie logic. Movies manipulate us into sometimes rooting for people to do bad things. We root for John Wick to murder countless people over a dog. We root for Liam Neeson to murder countless people just to save his daughter.

3 de may. de 2021 · For instance, a lot of people believe that he personally changed the ending of Law Abiding Citizen so that his character would "win." However, this has never been proven or acknowledged. That said, he did change the ending of Miami Vice.

For those unaware, there's a very common belief that Jamie Foxx demanded at the last minute of production of Law Abiding Citizen to have his character 'win' and kill off Gerard Butler's character, when the original planned ending (that we all wanted) was to do the opposite.
A Serbian Film and Law Abiding Citizen rank equally in movies that are only known for their brutality but the plot and characterization are poor if not outright amateur. The difference between them is that one was made to be comercially viable, that says miles about Hollywood, while the serbian movie was supposedly some kind of protest.

I read that the script originally had Butler's character winning but Jamie Foxx threatened to walk after filming started if the ending wasn't changed to his lawyer character winning. Honestly its a terrible ending and hurts the whole movie. Foxx character isn't a real hero in the film in any way. 24.

Recomendation for movies where the main character is just always one step ahead, out smarting everyone even the so called "good guys" (cops) something like Taken, Law Abiding Citizen, Inside Man. Death note. Pretty good anime and live action anime. Not the Netflix version.
31 de jul. de 2021 · Law Abiding Citizen - the real story. There's been a lot of LAC talk regarding his lawsuit, so thought I'd do an LAC AMA. I had a lot to do with everything, so hit me up! To settle some early questions, Jamie Foxx didn't have much to do at all with the ending. He had a lot to say for the director choice, but after that, was pretty chill.
