22 de oct. de 2014 · Skeletonwitch vocalist Chance Garnette has left the band's current tour with Amon Amarth to address “serious personal matters.” The band plan to continue on the road without him after admitting they’d been the source of “rumours, speculation and assumptions” in recent weeks.
6 de nov. de 2018 · In late 2014, vocalist Chance Garnette, brother of guitarist Nate, was arrested and charged with “assault and battery on a family/household member” and promptly fired, leaving the history of the group uncertain. Scrambling to finish the shows they had already scheduled, Skeletonwitch hired their friend Andy Horn of Battlemaster to fill in.

A reader did some digging and found these court records, which state that a 42-year-old Chance G. Garnette of Athens, Ohio was charged with “assault and battery on a family/household member” in a Worcester, MA court on October 20th, 2014, two days after he left the bands fall tour.
