The Neon God: Part 2 - The Demise takes off immediately where its “part 1” predecessor left off. As soon as the first track “Never Say Die” hits, things are pretty in your face, ... W.A.S.P. put out the best record they had done in several years before this series.

W.A.S.P. were a shocking band even by heavy metal’s outrageous standards. Not only did their 1984 debut single, “Animal (F**k Like a Beast),” draw controversy before its release, but early stage shows included antics such as throwing raw meat into the audience and vulgarity with a buzzsaw.
