At Crefeld, in addition to completing coursework, students must complete sixteen graduation exhibitions. Each exhibition is guided by a description and rubrics, and students must demonstrate “mastery” to pass their exhibitions. Exhibitions are evaluated by at least two faculty members. The Philadelphia Board of Health requires several vaccinations for children attending any K-12 school (public, parochial, private or charter) in the city. As a direct result, The Crefeld School adheres to all Philadelphia Board of Health rules and regulations.
Electives. All Middle School students participate in a Biking / Hiking course which occurs during the first period of each school day. Crefeld also provides each student with one elective per semester; all electives are open to students in grades 7-12.
