Paul Westerberg has produced a truly elegant, minimalist, folk/rock complilation. While some fans may deride the lack of wit on "Suicaine," compared to his Replacement's work and his two earlier solo efforts (both favorites of mine), I would argue is actually an evolution towards poignancy and directness that comes from a more secure and mature artist.
