4 de nov. de 2015 · The Spotlight true story reveals that at the end of July 2001, Globe editor Marty Baron (portrayed by Liev Schreiber in the movie) insisted on further pursuing a column written by Eileen McNamara, which reported on lawsuits pertaining to a priest allegedly involved in sexual abuse. Marty Baron was new to the paper, having just come to the Globe from the Miami Herald.
