kind of a funny scene to me, baki takes the roses he brought for katsumi, crushes them to make a perfume, rubs his hands and places them on katsumi's face (this seems kind of gay). hanayama did the same thing when he was 15 and his mother was sick, crushed the roses and caressed her face in the exact same way baki does.
No poo poo Yujiro's a bad guy but like, it's hard not to say that the tone of Baki has dramatically changed in lots of different directions over it's long run and Yujiro's characterization had definitely softened to a tiny extent with him being shown being relatively friendly with various members of the cast, only for a sudden and jarring dip into raperaperape.
reason 1- was to poke fun at the tv series that is about baki gay stuff. Yes it's a thing in japan reason 2- was to remind ppl of who yujiro is or was, because jack arc and jack vs sukune was approaching. reason 3- was to make yujiro intimidating again. for many being joe williamed is worse than death.

My guess is that Yujiro's other children weren't as genetically gifted as Baki, or didn't have the freakish determination of Jack.
