The Invictus Aqua 2016 smells much more qualitative than these two and has a perfect balance of sweetness, freshness and spice. Also smells different than these 2, much better in my opinion. Less pungent despite more depth. Finally the Aqua 2016 is out again as a 2024 version. Same DNA, weaker shelf life, as it still needs to mature.

Invictus Aqua’s scent profile is not unique, it’s a common compilation of notes. However, the composition is refreshing, pleasant and unoffending.
The opening of Invictus Aqua is otherwise very familiar to Invictus lovers, and has the ethyl maltol bubblegum sweetness, the grapefruit, the marine accord of various ozonic materials, etc. The deviation from Invictus here comes from juniper and yuzu mixed with a dihydromyrcenol aqautic note, making Invictus Aqua smoother, deeper, less punchy.
