But I also despise Caitlyn Jenner as a "role model" for trans-people. I didn't like the way she came out, feeling as though it was giving the media as much time and freedom to mock (ie bad publicity is still publicity!) her as they wanted, and then when she was actually out, she's really missed the mark on actually SUPPORTING trans stuff publicly, even denouncing gay rights on air.

3 de may. de 2017 · Aside from the party’s rabid, unrepentant transphobia and homophobia, what Jenner doesn’t see (or is too blinded by her considerable privilege to see) is that the trans people she’s fighting for aren’t just trans. They’re also women or people of color or immigrants. They’re also individuals who live at or below the poverty line.
