Levensloop. Omar Sharif studeerde aan het Victoria College, Alexandrië, en aan de Universiteit van Caïro, waar hij afstudeerde in wis- en natuurkunde.Na zijn studie ging hij bij zijn vader in diens houtbedrijf werken.
