The series will premiere on Sunday nights Fall, beginning October 18, and will explore what happens when idle gossip escalates out of control and starts to affect people’s lives.
And Dawn French reverts to type as a hyped-up version of the Vicar of Dibley - equal parts zany, idiotic and annoying. I've half-watched this go nowhere for the last 3 episodes. No one acts the way these characters act. It's marketed as a comedy drama. regrettably it's neither. The trouble with Maggie Cole is it's sheer drivel.
