Despite the track featuring on the album Hunk Dory almost two years prior, the world was happy to receive the new release for one of the greatest songs that Bowie ever masterminded.

In 2015 Neil McCormick, chief rock music critic of The Daily Telegraph, ranked it as number one in his "100 Greatest Songs of All Time" list.
