Gary Glitter geboren als Paul Francis Gadd, (Banbury (Oxfordshire), 8 mei 1944) is een Brits rock-'n-roll artiest, die vooral hits had in de jaren 70 en begin jaren 80. Zijn grootste hit wereldwijd was "Rock And Roll" uit 1972 , zijn bekendste "I'm the leader of the gang (I am)" (juli 1973 ) dat in het Verenigd Koninkrijk direct op de eerste plaats van de hitlijsten kwam.
