It would piss off Jinx though, and from those two guys in Jinx's introduction, we know people are terrified of her. Which might explain why they left her at the end of ep 6, but I agree it's weird. As I understand it, the Firelights and Vi had the same strategy in S1. They all wanted to destroy Silco's empire by undermining his shimmer business.

Little Man seems to be under the care of Benzo, Vander’s right-hand man. Ekko shows his talent for tinkering by working in Benzo’s pawn shop.
