La primera es el origen y muy bien realizada profundización psicológica del famoso personaje, y la segunda es el establecimiento del bat-universo (Gotham, Joker, Gordon, Harvey, mafias, corrupción, villanos raros, los dilemas éticos de ser un vigilante, etc.).
