Maurice Utrillo (1883 - 1955) The "Berlioz House" is in Paris in Montmartre, on the corner of the Rue Saint-Vincent and the Rue du Mont-Cenis. The composer Hector Berlioz (1803-1869) lived here with his wife from 1834 to 1837, hence its name. The painter Georges Braque (1882-1963) set up his studio there in 1911.

Maurice Utrillo Pintor francés Nació el 25 de diciembre de 1883 en París. Hijo natural de la pintora y modelo Suzanne Valadon, fue adoptado por el escultor español Miguel Utrillo. Muy influenciado por el impresionismo, sus primeras obras se caracterizan por su delicado colorido y por reflejar vistas urbanas de los suburbios del norte de París.

Maurice Utrillo (born December 26, 1883, Paris, France—died November 5, 1955, Le Vésinet) was a French painter who was noted for his depictions of the houses and streets of the Montmartre district of Paris.. Born out of wedlock, Utrillo was the son of the model and artist Suzanne Valadon.His father was not known, and he was given his name by a Spanish art critic, Miguel Utrillo.
