In December 1980, The Clash released their fourth album – Sandinista! - a triple album that was even more sonically expansive than London Calling. Heavily influenced by reggae music (with some dub mixes for songs being created by Mikey Dread ), Sandinista! is six sides of vinyl (each containing six songs) which were recorded in New York and London throughout 1980.
