My good nelson Q-500 motors would turn a 8.8 x 8.75 from 19,500 to 20,500 depending on the day. If I broke 20,000, I would prop up to the 8.8 x 9.0 and shoot for 19,500 to 19,800. I ran the short stroke nelsons and have turned a 1:07 and a 1:09 on the long course. This was before the new 3.75 lb rule change.
