Trans-Europe Express (German: Trans Europa Express) is the sixth studio album (seventh if Tone Float is counted) by German band Kraftwerk.Recorded in 1976 in Düsseldorf, Germany, the album was released in March 1977 on Kling Klang Records. It saw the group refine their melodic electronic style, with a focus on sequenced rhythms, minimalism, and occasionally manipulated vocals.

7 de abr. de 2005 · The production is clear and powerful and overall "Trans-Europe Express (Trans-Europa Express)" is a very enjoyable and quite intriguing electronic pop album. It´s incredible how innovative Kraftwerk were in those days. They took musical chances like few and the boldness of it all is just extremely charming. A 4.5 star (90%) rating is deserved.

Trans Europa Express ist das sechste Studioalbum der deutschen Electronica-Band Kraftwerk. Es erschien 1977 in einer deutschsprachigen und in einer englischen Version als Trans-Europe Express. Das Album ist nach dem Trans Europ Express benannt. Das Album gehört zu den einflussreichsten Alben aller Zeiten.
"Spiegelsaal" and "Trans Europa Express" hardly have any musical substance - it's all about fancy sounds going back and forth, and those sounds do not sound as fresh as they did in 1977. It is not the first time that I am disappointed by the overly hyped Kraftwerk. I guess, I just stick to the above mentioned 2 albums, and that's about it.
