Our story. Oundle traces its history back to 1556, when Sir William Laxton, Lord Mayor of London and Master of the Worshipful Company of Grocers endowed a ‘Free Grammar School’ in Oundle, where he had been educated at the original Gild School founded in 1506. Role 2 – 35 hours per week. 6:30am-12:30pm Monday-Friday and 7:30am-12:30pm Saturday, 41.4 working weeks per annum (47 paid weeks). Salary £18,818 per annum.
