  1. 16 de ene. de 1998 · Junior Wells, whose powerful harmonica playing and singing helped shape Chicago blues and influence generations of rock 'n' roll stars, died after a battle with cancer. He was 63. Wells had been seriously ill since September, when he suffered a heart attack and lapsed into a coma while being treated lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system. He died Thursday evening at a Chicago hospital.
