4 de oct. de 2010 · Forget the new GIMME SOME TRUTH compilation coming out this year. This is the original and definitive way to celebrate John Lennon's 80th birthday. Universal Music should have gone back to this set and completely remixed all of these instead of only giving us a 'sampler'.

22 de oct. de 2020 · Lennon lands some punches with “Gimme Some Truth” that fall flat with the others, and you gotta love the song’s tasty George Harrison slide solo. I should probably hate “#9 Dream” for its ridiculous “Ah Bowa Kowa”s, but the rest of the song is so lush and dreamy, it has such a wistful vibe, I am willing to overlook it.
