"Let the Heartaches Begin" is a song performed by British singer Long John Baldry. The single was a number one hit in the UK Singles Chart on 22 November 1967 where it stayed for two weeks. It was the second of two consecutive UK number one hits for the writing partnership of Tony Macaulay and John Macleod.The title of the B-side song is "Annabella (Who Flies To Me When She's Lonely)".
Baldry and Stewart put a band together to promote the album on Baldry's first tour of the US, consisting of mostly musicians from Stewart's Every Picture Tells a Story album: Sam Mitchell (blues guitar), Micky Waller (drums), Pete Sears (bass) and Ian Armit (piano). They were called "The Long John Baldry Blues Band", and played two tours of the US.
Boys in the Band is one of the more obscure Baldry releases that is very rarely seen in discographies. It was made available for digital download in 2010 by Minder Records. The album was not promoted with a tour and none of the material has ever appeared on live recordings. In 1974 however LJB did record the track "Let’s See What Love Can Do ...

Long John's Blues was the début solo album by British blues singer Long John Baldry and his band, the Hoochie Coochie Men, featuring musicians who had previously played alongside Baldry in the Cyril Davies All-Stars.The album featured a track list that he would continue to play at live shows throughout his career.
