Besonders Al Pacino tut sich hier hervor, der in der genialsten Rolle steckt, in der ich ihn je gesehen habe. Dick Tracy Darsteller und Regisseur Warren Beatty ist hingegen ein eher unauffälliges Geschöpf - dafür haben wir noch einen tollen Dustin Hoffmann in einer kleinen Nebenrolle und leider eine unbegabte Madonna in einer eher tragenden Rolle.
