Jelentősége nemcsak művei minőségében nyilvánult meg, hanem abban is, hogy a sci-fi műfaj jelentős időszakában, az 1950-es években már aktív író volt, így a műfajra írásai hatást gyakoroltak ebben a fontos korszakban.
