3 de mar. de 2023 · Rajendra Prasad (December 3, 1884 – February 28, 1963) was an Indian independence campaigner, lawyer, academic, and, later, the country’s first president, serving from 1950 to 1962. During the Indian Independence Movement, he joined the Indian National Congress and rose to become a prominent leader in the Bihar and Maharashtra regions.
Rajendra Prasad was a skilled writer and wrote a number of works in English and Hindi. Apart from that, he was also well-versed in Persian, Urdu, and Sanskrit.
