David Charles Olney (March 23, 1948 – January 18, 2020) was an American folk singer-songwriter. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island. Olney performed as a solo singer-songwriter, and released more than 20 albums over forty years. He worked with artists such as John Hadley and Sergio Webb.
