Bobby "Blue" Bland, geboren Robert Calvin Brooks (Rosemark, 27 januari 1930 – Germantown, 23 juni 2013) was een Amerikaanse blueszanger met veel soul in zijn sound. Zijn fluwelen, smoothe zangstem wisselt hij af met keelkliks en gegrom, dat bekend is gaan staan als de chicken-bone sound (kippenbottengeluid).

Gordon plays piano and sounds to be the vocalist on the poignantly-titled Letter FromA Trench In Korea, but there’s no mistaking Bland’s bluesy wail on the flip, Crying.
