I (or Bass Communion I) is the first studio album released by British musician, songwriter, and producer Steven Wilson under the pseudonym Bass Communion in 1998. It was reissued in December 2001 through Hidden Art record label. The basis of both "Drugged" pieces were reused for the title track of No-Man's album Together We're Stranger as well as "Drugged 3" from Bass Communion II.
28 de ene. de 2024 · Bass Communion is a side project of Steven Wilson, best known for his lead role in the rock band Porcupine Tree and also of the bands No-Man, Blackfield, and Incredible Expanding Mindfuck (IEM). Bass Communion's albums have often featured collaborations from other musicians, including Robert Fripp of King Crimson, saxophonist Theo Travis, Bryn Jones (also known as Muslimgauze), and Vidna Obmana.

Bass Communion is a project of Steven Wilson. The records released under this name are in an ambient, drone, and/or electronic vein. They come about as experiments in texture made from processing instrumental performances and field recordings - with the exception of the first three albums, which include some electronic sources.
