An American woman named Mildred Gillars broadcast Nazi propaganda during World War II. The story plunges the viewer into the dark underbelly of the Third Reich's hate-filled propaganda machine, Sally's eventual capture, and her subsequent trial for treason in Washington D.C. after the war.

When the war was over, Gillars became the most hated person in America and the sensational trial that followed saw her charged with treason and facing the death penalty.
