13 de sept. de 2013 · All I can smell is petrol! sandi •. 11 years ago • 18 Replies. This has come on over the last week. Been sleeping ok and getting up earlier than usual for me, even got some studying done BUT can now smell petrol everywhere. Frankly it's making me feel very sick and it's hard to work up an appetite with the smell.

27 de feb. de 2014 · W205 C200 Petrol. Hi, Increasingly there's a smell of petrol under the bonnet of my 2015 C200. When it was serviced by MB Cambridge last month I asked for this to be investigated. I was told it was related to the crankcase breather (which seems unlikely to me) and that they needed to have the car back in for further investigation.

Aug 23, 2011. #2. sounds to me like your breather hose has perished or split (very common) there is a uprated part available till you can get it to a dealer you can wrap it in duct tape to suppress the leakage of vapour and oil. this is for a grande punto but they are the same engine.

When TDN (1,1,6-trimethyl-1,2-dihydronaphthalene) is created, as a Riesling ages, it puts off an aroma of petrol. But my son followed me and he said he could smell petrol now I'm worried again so next stop garage although it was looked at before and no problem found 🤔any ideas folks ...
