5 de ago. de 2015 · Cilla Black, who rose from a job checking coats in a Liverpool nightclub to become Britain’s top female vocalist of the 1960s, died on Saturday at her villa in Estepona, Spain. She was 72.
Cilla Black (27 May 1943 – 1 August 2015) was a English television personality, singer and actress. Her birth name was Priscilla Maria Veronica White and she was born in Liverpool . She became known for her songs " Anyone Who Had A Heart " and " You're My World " as well as her long-running TV shows Blind Date (1985-2003) and Surprise Surprise (1984-2001).

As well as her usual collaborators The Breakaways on backing vocals, Cilla later claimed her then-future husband Bobby Willis provided his voice on this George Martin-produced track, too.

Priscilla Maria Veronica White, or Cilla Black as she was more widely known, was a singer and television presenter who became a much-loved household name. Cilla was born in 1943 in the Vauxhall area of Liverpool to a mother of the same first name, Priscilla Blythen (1911 – 1966). Her father was John Patrick White (1904 – 1971).
