Robert Zemeckis. Robert Lee Zemeckis ( Chicago, 14 maggio 1952) è un regista, sceneggiatore e produttore cinematografico statunitense . Biografía. Director, guionista y productor cinematográfico, Robert Zemeckis comenzó a rodar películas de 8mm en su etapa estudiantil antes de acudir a la Northern Illinois University. Más tarde estudió Cinematografía en la Universidad de California de Sur de Los Angeles, en donde coincidió con George Lucas, John Milius y Bob Gale.
Robert Zemeckis won an Academy Award®, a Golden Globe and a Director's Guild of American Award for Best Director for the hugely successful FORREST GUMP. The film's numerous honors also included Oscars for Best Actor (Tom Hanks) and Best Picture.

Biography by AllMovie [+] American director Robert Zemeckis studied filmmaking at Northern Illinois University, and then got his start with a job with the film editing department at WMAQ-TV, Chicago's NBC flagship station. After commercial work, Zemeckis and his friend and collaborator, Bob Gale, became assistants to Steven Spielberg.
