Jim Clark OBE was born James Clark Jr on the 4th March 1936 in Kilmany, Fife. The son of a sheep farmer and brother to four older sisters, Jim's family moved south Edington Mains farm just outside Chirnside, Berwickshire in the Scottish Borders and became very much a Borderer.
