British comedian, born August 7, 1952, Liverpool. A member of the "alternative comedy" collective The Comic Strip, and star of the TV show "Alexei Sayle's Stuff" (later re-titled "The All-New Alexei Sayle Show"). In recent years he has been more active as a writer and has published two short story collections.
