HEATHMONT COLLEGE. Principal - Mr. John Handley Heathmont is progressively establishing itself on a single campus with new and improved facilities for science, technology, sports gymnasium, administration and a new VCE centre, together with development of its beautiful garden setting.
Heathmont College acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the Lands that we are privileged to walk upon and learn on each day, which is the land of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, who are our knowledge holders, story keepers and teachers.

The college is situated in the leafy, outer-eastern suburb of Heathmont. The Year 7 intake comes from many of the surrounding primary schools, both close by and from the corridor to the Dandenongs. Heathmont prides itself on its capacity to meet the wide range of learning needs of its students.
Tier 1: Universal support at Heathmont College. Tier 1supports include approaches to teaching positive behaviours to the whole school population. Heathmont College uses a range of materials to support teaching and learning. Many of the textbooks can be purchased in digital or print version, depending upon student preference. The first ladder below shows the position of Heathmont College when all schools are ranked by their 2021 median VCE study scores (as published by the VCAA). If two schools have equal median scores, their VCE 40+ percentages are used as a tie-breaker.
