This is one of only two T2 Trainspotting film locations that appear in both films. It is, of course, Corrour Train Station where Tommy persuades the gang to visit in the first film.
Initially as the movie went through the first hour, I thought it was cheesy nostalgia. but ultimately, although very different from its predecessor, the result was a satisfying and genuinely emotional coda to the original in it's own way. Don't believe the hype, and take it as it's own thing - it's worth the watch.
