Nile Rodgers is best known as the lead guitarist and coleader, along with bassist Bernard Edwards, of Chic, one of the most successful disco groups of the late 1970s. Rodgers, who considers himself first and foremost a jazz guitarist, has also released three recordings under his own name; but Rodgers ’ s talents extend into other creative realms.
