Eddy Grant’s musical life has lasted the better part of 50 years. First finding success as a teenager in the 1960s with the Equals, he quit the band after a car accident and a heart attack at the age of 23. Then he built his own studio, transitioning from a touring life to the production side of the music business.

Eddy Grant (egentligen Edmond Montague Grant), född 5 mars 1948 i Plaisance, Guyana, är en brittisk reggaemusiker.. Som liten emigrerade Grant med sin familj till London, Storbritannien. Åren 1965-1971 ingick Grant i gruppen The Equals.Med gruppen fick han en singeletta i Storbritannien och internationell hit med den egna kompositionen "Baby, Come Back" 1968. [1]
