When I first heard De-Loused in the Comatorium, The Mars Volta's first full length, I had that exact feeling. While I had listened to artists like King Crimson and Rush, I had never listened to such a completely frenetic and, honestly, strange album as this one. I was completely taken aback by how 'kick ass' everyone was on here.
