The Romantics lead singer recalls getting a call from Ringo Starr, the Beatle asking him to join the All Starr Band. “The Beatles is why I started playing — and other bands, also — but seeing them first on Ed Sullivan and stuff like that, that was what really got me into doing what I’m doing right now,” Palmar said.
