Při sledování Training Day jsem si nepřipadal, že sleduji něco opravdu výjimečného. Washingtonův herecký výkon (i když kvalitní) mi oscarový rozhodně nepřišel, Hawkův už vůbec ne. Příběh je tuctový, mnohokrát viděný, jen trošku jinak zpracovaný, než u jiných filmů řešících podobné téma (zkorumpovaný policajt versus mladý, ulicí nezkažený zelenáč).
