The original guy was, of course, Peter Cetera who left the group in the mid-eighties. Jason Scheff was the next guy and he was in the fold from 1985 until 2016.
In 2018, Canadian vocalist Neil Donell got the call to replace Jeff Coffey on lead vocals and he jumped at the chance. Donell, who’s originally from Montreal but moved to Toronto in the mid-1980s has worked extensively as a session musician and has been nominated for several Juno Awards.
