Farrelly was going for a 21st century version of "The Groove Tube" and "Kentucky Fried Movie," two very funny, very raunchy and very influential sketch-comedy flicks of the mid-1970s. The only thing "Movie 43" has in common with those movies is it's in color.
Movie 43 has many laugh-out-loud moments. It's a bunch of short skits like the over-hyped Kentucky Fried Movie but unlike that steaming pile, this is well crafted. Also, there are two versions of this. The little thread of a story between the skits is different depending on the version you watch.
