Colin Murray “Gem” Archer is an English musician, best known as a member of the English rock bands Oasis, Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

Their debut album, Different Gear, Still Speeding, was released in February. Archer — whose first name is pronounced with a hard G, as in guitar — had been with Oasis since the original band lost a few founding members in 2000.
