Recorded in the summer of 1989 following Trout's departure from John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers after four years, it was originally released that year in Scandinavia by Bozz, a sub-division of Swedish record label Electra.

5 de jun. de 2011 · My introduction to Walter Trout was via John Mayall's cover of the Trout-penned Life In The Jungle. And like the reviewer from New Zealand, I think Mayall's version is superior. That being said, I am glad that Mayall covered it else I might not have gotten to hear the music of Mr. Trout.
